Mike....I hope you like this. This is truly how I feel about your work. No BS.
I am very pleased with the job that Mr. Michael Georgia and his staff has performed on my 3000 sq ft lawn for me over labor day weekend 2008. Let me breakdown his excellent service.....
Promptness (A-): Mr Georgia had promised to be here at 7am in the morning. He showed up at 7:30. Given that he had to pickup his staff from North Hollywood and drive all the way out here to Hacienda Heights, its not too bad.
Attitude (A+): Mr Georgia and his staff started right away and manually pick axed thru the hard spots of the lawn so it'd be easier to till the land. His staff didnt take many water/restroom breaks as they worked relentlessly. Mr. Georgia even insists on his staff not stepping into the house unless there was a real a need. That shows professionalism on his behalf by respecting the home owner.
Quality (A+): Mr. Georgia timed the delivery of the compost seamlessly. The delivery man came with a truckload of compost (throuoghbred manure as I am told). After tilling, they blended the compost along with existing soil to enrich my lot. My lot contains quite a few large size rocks. Mr Georgia's staff was nice enough to remove and dispose of all the large chunks for us. Within minutes of the tilling, green beetles flew in to fest on the compost. When was the last time you saw a beetle?
Cleaniness (A+): Though the compost seemed like a mess in the beginning, Mr Georgia and his staff managed to clean out my lot the same way it was before they arrived. The compost delivery truck dropped compost a few houses down the street upon delivery, Mr Georgia's staff even walked down the street and cleaned it up.
Intangibles (A++): This is where Mr Georgia makes a difference, his staff broke a few sprinkler PVC fittings when tilling the back lot. They not only fixed the pipes his staff broke, they even fixed my existing sprinkler problems at no charge. I'm not saying he'll fix your sprinklers free of charge, but this displays his generousity. He even seeded my lot for me when it wasn't even covered in his service contract. He didn't have to, but he went the extra mile.
Trustworthyness (A+): Mr Georgia gave the Compost Delivery Man cash on the spot for his services upon delivery. This tells me that the Mr Georgia pays his bills. I have been victimized by construction fraud before so I truly appreciate Mr. Georgia's promptness and professionalism.
Conclusion (A+): Why pay $2.00 per square foot to get your lawn done when Mr Georgia only charges a fraction of the price? You can pay Mr Georgia $1.05 to prepare the lot and seed your lot with a $25 bag of seed. Or if you choose not to seed you can pay to have Sod growers to come out and deliver sod for around $0.45 per sq ft (comes out to $1.50/sq ft).
I couldn't be happier with Mr Georgia and his staff's services. At the end of the day, I even paid him extra to cover material costs he threw in and bought the whole staff lunch. While I didnt have to, but I was very very happy with the way Mr Georgia conducted his business. Mr Georgia is truly responsible and they're not just out out here performing a job. They will treat your lawn as if it was their own lawn.
PS: I cant wait for the grass seedlings to pop out of my yard. I will send pictures to prove his work.
One happy home owner,
Ward Chen
